#1. Herb Tea
Herbs are packed which antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that make them perfect solution to fight colds and runny nose. Herbs are considered to be natural way to cure sore throat, common colds and flu. To make yourself an herbal infusion, take some 1’4 inch of ginger, ½ a lemon, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 0r 2 cloves, ½ teaspoon turmeric, a pinch of cayenne pepper and honey according to your taste. Take 3 cups of water and boil all the ingredients except honey for few minutes. Let the water reduce to half and sieve the infused tea in a cup, add honey and drink it while it’s still warm. Drink this herbal tea thrice a day to soothe runny nose.

Black peppers form a basic part of culinary across the globe. It is either used in whole or crushed form as a seasoning to many different savouries. Black pepper is antibacterial in nature and thus acts great to cure common colds and flu. To relief your nose, take some freshly grounded black pepper powder and add sesame oil to it. Mix it well and rub it around your nose. Repeat this remedy over the day to get best results.

Steaming is said to be one of the best cures to fight colds and stuffy nose. Steaming opens up the nasal congestion and provides relief by lubricating the respiratory system. Boil some water in a medium size pot or vessel. Place the vessel on table and sit with towel over your sides and lean over the vessel. Inhale the hot steam as long as you can. For best results add 3 to 4 garlic cloves while making the soup. You can also add lemon juice to it as the presence of vitamin C in lemons helps to cure colds.
